De Belofte

De titel van de foto is een belofte van mij aan de bezoekers en aan mij zelf, na het debakel met de harde schijf ben ik terug. Ik ga meteen van start met een serie die ik heb gemaakt over Apeldoorn. Ik begin bij het station en zal zo verschillende bekende plaatsen in Apeldoorn laten zien.

The title of the photo is the promise, a promise to you and to myself.  After the problems with my hard disc drive (how’s crashed) I will show you the city of Apeldoorn in this serie. This is the trainstation and I will show some interesting places in the city.

Vogel evenwicht

Dit is een foto vlak bij huis, er leuk watertje om even langs te lopen. Zeker met mooi weer is het altijd genieten.

 

This a photo taken close to home, nice water to walk the dog or without. It is at with best with nice weather.

Het Nederlandse beeld

Dit zijn foto’s waar je er in Nederland erg veel van kan maken, fietspaden. Ik heb deze bewust dichtbij de grond gemaakt.

 

This are photo’s you can make anywhere in the Netherlands, bikelanes. I’ve made this photo so close to the ground because you can see how long the path is.

Lombard street

Naar aanleiding van de post van Koen over Montagne De Bueren in Luik, kwam ik op het idee wat te posten over een andere helling. In San Fransisco. Lombard Street, hier wordt vaak over gezegd dat het de straat is met de meeste bochten. Het is er erg mooi aangelegd.

After the post of Koen about Montagne De Bueren in Luik (Belgium), I though about a photo I made during my stay in San Fransisco. This is Lombard Street, some people say that it is the street with the most turns in the world. I made the photo because of the nice borders. 

Kleur of Zwart/Wit

Ik heb deze foto’s gemaakt toen ik terugging naar huis, je ziet hier de Prins Hendrik kade en op de achtergrond het centraal station.  Ik heb er een kleur en zwart/wit versie van. Ik weet alleen niet welke ik zou moeten kiezen, de kleur vind ik eigenlijk iets te groen, ik heb dit willen aanpassen maar beter dan dit kwam ik niet. Op zwart/wit daarin tegen zie ik niet alle mooie kleuren die de kleurenfoto wel heeft. Welke heeft volgens jullie de voorkeur.

I made this photo’s when I came back from a friend in Amsterdam, this is the Prins Hendrik Kade and at the back you could see the central station. But I don’t know which one is the best. The color photo is a bit to green I think, and in the black and white photo you cannot see a the nice details that you have in the color. What do you think is the best one.

Wandeling door Amsterdam

Afgelopen maandag was ik onverwacht vrij van school. Dit betekende dat ik kon doen wat ik al een langer tijd had willen doen. Weer naar Amsterdam, ik pakte de bus vanaf Schiphol naar het Museumplein in Amsterdam. Dit is de wijk Oud Zuid die grenst aan het Museumplein. Ik vind het een karakteristieke wijk voor Amsterdam. Maar het zijn erg saaie huizen.

Ik zal jullie de aankomende dagen een beeld van Amsterdam proberen te schetsen.

I was free from school last monday. Now I could go to Amsterdam, I took the bus from Schiphol to Amsterdam (museumplein). This is Oud Zuid a old neighborhood in the south of Amsterdam. The houses here are very boring.

I  will show you the coming days some photo’s out of Amsterdam.

P30

P30, een grote parkeerplaats op Schiphol. Het leek mij een leuk idee om te laten zien hoeveel auto’s er staan. Nu heb ik ze niet geteld maar aan deze foto te zien zijn het er erg veel.

P30, a enormous parking lot a Schiphol Airport. My idea was to let you see how much cars there are. I didn’t count the cars, but in the photo you can see that there are a lot of cars.

Las Vegas Boulevard

Dit is dus de beroemde Strip, Las Vegas Boulevard is de straat waar je moet zijn in Las Vegas. Hier liggen alle grote casino’s . En jullie zien het goed, je ziet de Eiffeltoren. Ze hebben deze nagebouwd bij het hotel Paris.

This is the famous Strip, Las Vegas Boulevard is the place to be in Las Vegas. All the mayor hotels in the city are on the boulevard. You even see the Eiffel Tower, they build a small one at the Paris hotel.

MGM Grand

Door de vele leuke reactie op Luxor heb ik deze foto geplaatst. Dit is de MGM Grand, het grootste hotel ter wereld en het grootste casino van Las Vegas. Het thema van dit hotel is, zoals de naam al zegt MGM en de films er van.  De grote leeuw op de foto is het symbool van de maatschappij.

Because of the nice reactions on Luxor, I placed this photo. This is the MGM Grand, the largest hotel in the world and the biggest casino in Las Vegas. The theme of this hotel is, according to the name MGM and the movies of them. The big lion on the photo is the symbol of MGM.

Grootte Markt

Dit is het uitgaanscentrum van Breda, de Grootte markt is ‘the place to be’ in het weekend. Ik heb deze foto juist op het moment genomen dat er een fietser langs kwam.

This is the place to make a party in Breda, de  Grootte Markt. I made this photo when a biker past.
